Other Details

A)
Students of the Karnatak University who join this college, will    have to produce the transfer Certificate from the college last attended, by applying through the College, in the prescribed form immediately after the provisional admission is granted.
B)
Students other than the Karnataka State seeking admission have to obtain “Eligibility Letter” from the Registrar, Karnatak University, Dharwad before presenting their admission application to this college. For obtaining such a certificate from the Registrar, the said candidates have to apply for the purpose to the Registrar by paying the prescribed fees and also producing the necessary details. The candidates seeking admission has to personally secure/manage to get such Eligibility Certificate from Karnatak University office at Dharwad before presenting his application to this college for Provisional Admission.
C)
Statement of marks in original plus two Xerox copies of the each year of the qualifying exam & four copies passport size photos. In respect of SC/ST etc., students Caste and Income Certificates issued by the prescribed competent authorities should be attached.
D)
Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form only.
E)
Admission must be taken personally.
F)
Admission Application, which is complete in all the respect, only are entertained.
G)
Until the head of the institution notifies specifically in that regard by a notice to be put   up on the College Notice Board, the admission of the student shall be strictly Provisional. (i.e. Not final).
 

Fees shall be required to be paid as prescribed by University/Government from time to time.


TERMS AND ATTENDANCE

Terms:
                   The academic year of Law Course shall consist of two semesters the commencement and closer of semesters will be fixed by the University from time to time     

Attendance:
                   Attendance at every Lecture, Tutorials and Test is compulsory and absence without the permission of the Principal will be severely dealt with.

          No person shall be deemed to have earned his terms until he has kept a minimum of 75 % attendance.

          As per New Ordinance No. 3 of 8-5-1991 a candidate taking the University Examination in Law shall necessary have to put in 75 percentage attendance in aggregate of all subjects Theory, Practical, Seminars, Tutorials etc during the academic year. Relaxation may be granted at the discretion of the Vice-Chancellor up to 5% (75-5=70) with a penal fee of Rs. 50/- per student

          No student will be admitted to any University Examination unless his attendance, conduct and progress are to the satisfaction of the principal. Satisfactory attendance for the terms means attendance on all days on which the college is open except when leave of absence has been obtained from the principal

Without special permission of the principal previously taken, no student can leave the place before the College closes for the Semester, even though he has completed the minimum number of days of attendance. The principal may take a serious notice of any breach of this rule.
