Dr. Dnyaneshwar P. Chouri, LL.M., M.Phil., Ph.D.,
Principal

Dr. Dnyaneshwar P. Chouri is a dedicated academician. His areas of interest includes Consumer Law, Constitutional Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights, Property Law etc.. He completed LL.M. in 2007, specializing in Business and Trade Law, and was awarded an M.Phil.in Law in September 2008 for his research work titled “Legal Protection of Right to Health – A Critical Analysis” by Karnatak University, Dharwad. He obtained Ph.D. in 2016 for his research work on “A Law Relating to the Protection of Consumers of Professional Services: A Critical Analysis” from the Karnatak University, Dharwad. He began his tenure as a full-time faculty member at K.L.E. Society’s S. A. Manvi Law College, Gadag in 2008. He was also associated with KLE Law College, Benguluru from 2010 to 2015. Since 2015 he is serving as a faculty in KLE Society’s G.K. Law College, Hubballi. He has authored two books titled “Right to Health and Legal Protection,” published in 2013 and “Legal Protection to Consumers of Professional Services” published in 2018 by Regal Publication, New Delhi.

He has published over 20 research articles in esteemed law journals and presented more than 21 research papers in various national as well as International level seminars and conferences, attended over 25 refresher courses /FDP/Orientation Programmes. He has an inclination towards research especially consumer and environmental law. With 17 years of teaching experience, he taught various subjects such as Interpretation of Statues, Administrative Law, Law of Torts, Environmental law, Property Law etc. Above all, he is a passionate educator who believes in imparting quality education with human values.

Dr. Sharada G. Patil, B.A., D.S.M., LL.M., Ph.D. Assistant Professor

She has completed her LL.M. with the specialization in Labour Law in the year 1999. Soon after the completion she joined this institution during the year 1999 as a full time faculty. She served as Principal of G. K. Law College, Hubballi for 10 years from 2013 to 2023. Presently she is serving as Assistant Professor. She has completed Certificate Course in Cyber Laws in 2006. She has also done Diploma in Systems Management at NIIT in the year 1994. She has completed Ph.D. on “A Critical Study Relating to Legal Aspects of Surrogacy in India” at Karnataka University, Dharwad in the year 2017. She did certification in International Blockchain Advisor Course from Satoshi Consulting, Germany and ILTES-IOGA (GALTER), Hyderabad during the year 2020. She has teaching experience of 27 years and is teaching subjects like Constitution of India, Environmental Laws, Interpretation of Statutes, Penology, Professional Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems etc. She has presented papers in International/National seminars, written research articles. She has the rich experience of organising International and National Conferences, Symposia, Workshops and Seminars. She has attended refresher courses and faculty development programmes. She has also attended various International, National level seminars/workshops.

Mr. Jai Hanuman H. K, B.A.L., LL.M., Assistant Professor

He has completed his B.A.L. LL.B. from Vidyodaya Law College, Tumkur in 2001, LL.M. from University Law College Bangalore in 2003 and from Kuvempu University, Shimoga in 2011. He has passed UGC-Net in 2012. He was appointed as Lecturer at K.L.E. Society’s Law College, Bangalore in 2012. He was transferred to K.L.E. Society’s S.A. Manvi Law College in November, 2012 and worked as assistant professor from 2012 to 2023. In December 2023 Jaihanuman H. K. has taken the charge of Principalship of K.L.E. Society’s S.A. Manvi Law College and discharged his duties as in-charge Principal up to 6th November, 2025. He was transferred to K.L.E. Society’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College from 7th November 2025. He was Lecturer of Law at SJR College of Law Bangalore between 2004 and 2008, Guest faculty at K.L.E. Society’s Law College between 2008 and 2010. He worked as Assistant Professor at Acharya Institute of Management and Sciences, Bangalore between 2010 and 2012. His areas of interest are Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Business Law, Law of Evidence, Public International Law and Criminal Law.

Smt. Mrs. Kavitha S. Belagali,, B.A.,LL.B. LL.M., Assistant Professor

Smt. Kavita S. Belagali serves as an Assistant Professor at KLE Society’s G. K. Law College, Hubballi, with over 9 years of teaching experience in the field of law. She completed her LL.M. in Constitutional Law from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, securing Second Rank. Her academic contributions include research publications in reputed law journals, presentations at national and international conferences, and participation in multiple faculty development programmes, workshops, and seminars. She has also actively contributed as an organizing committee member and coordinator for various academic events and legal workshops.

Mrs. Preeti J Kasturi, B.Com., LL.M., Assistant Professor

She has completed Bachelors in Commerce from SJMVS College for Women, Hubballi. She has completed Bachelors in Law from K.L.E’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi and secured 8th rank for Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. Further, she has completed Masters in Law with specialisation in Corporate and Commercial Law from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi securing 2nd rank for Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. She has practiced as an Advocate at Hubballi and successfully dealt with civil and criminal cases at Hubballi and Karnataka High Court, Dharwad Bench, Dharwad. She has a teaching experience of 4 years. Also she has worked as a guest faculty for Constitutional Law at K.L.E.’s College of Business Administration, Hubballi and K.L.E. Technological University (BVB Engineering College), Hubballi. She has conducted special lectures on Constitutional Law, Labour Law etc. and participated in national and international workshops, webinars etc. Her areas of teaching include Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Labour Law, Professional Ethics, Land Laws, Code of Civil Procedure, Intellectual Property Rights and English. Presently she is serving as a Assistant Professor at K.L.E’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi.

Mrs. Soundarya Joshi, B.B.A.LL.B. LL.M., Assistant Professor

Completed BBA.,LL,.B, from KLS’s Raja Lakhamgouda Law College, Belagavi in the year 2020 and LL.M with specialization in Corporate Law in the year 2023 from Karnataka University, Dharwad. At present, teaching Family Law – II and Environmental Law at KLE Society’s G.K.Law College Hublli . Has done internship from B.M.Chougale sir’s office, Belagavi and presented paper on Corporate Social Responsibility @ National Level Seminar and Conference organised by R L Law College, Belagavi. From October 2024 working as full time faculty at KLE Society’s G.K.Law College, Hubballi.

Naveen Rafugar, LL.M., Assistant Professor

Naveen Rafugar is an Assistant Professor with a passion for legal education and a strong background in legal practice. With over eight years of experience as an advocate and legal consultant, he brings a diverse range of practical knowledge in areas such as civil and criminal litigation, constitutional law, and corporate legal matters. Naveen holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Constitutional and Administrative Law and is currently pursuing his Ph.D at Alliance University.

Ms Tejaswini C Kona, B.COM, LL.B, LL.M., Assistant Professor

She has completed Bachelors in Commerce from KLE’s College of Commerce, in year 2018 at Hubballi. She has been awarded for securing 100 marks in subject auditing from the said institution. She has completed Bachelors in Law from KLE’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College year 2021, Hubballi and completed her Masters in Law with specialisation in Corporate Law from P.G. Department of Studies Karnataka University in year 2025, Dharwad. She has practised as an Advocate at Dharwad and successfully dealt with civil and criminal cases at Dharwad Bench. She is also having experience how to file the cases and seek emergency relief online mode during pandemic in year 2020. She has teaching experience in KLE College of Business Administration 2025 in subject Business law. She is also awarded by Deshpande Foundation as Best Speaker Award in Toast Master. She also participated in National Level Moot Court Competition, also participated in II NLS Trilegal Arbitration Conference in 2019. She has judged the Intra College Negotiation Competition at Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi in 2024, and also served as facilitator at KLE Law Academy 3rd Negotiation Competition held on 5th and 6th April 2025.She also participated webinar on “How to Survive and Thrive as a Junior Advocate” by Adv. Bansuri Swaraj in year 2020, also participated in “Scope of ADR-Post COVID-19”, and also Participated in Private Equity Investment in India .Cyber Security and Emerging data Protection In India”, participated in webinar on “Environmental law and its Impact in India”, organised by KLE College of Law Kalamboli, Navi Mumbai, and so on. Her areas of teaching include Family Law: Hindu Law I, Administrative Law, Intellectual Property Rights-I. Presently she is serving as a Assistant Professor at K.L.E’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi.

MS. Sneha Kadrolli, B.B.A., LL.B., Assistant Professor

Ms. Sneha Kadrolli is serving as an Assistant Professor of Law. She holds a B.B.A., LL.B. (Hon’s) degree from Karnataka State Law University, Navanagar, Hubballi, and a Master’s in Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property Rights and Technology Law from R.V. University, Bangalore. Her academic and research interests include Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Law, Fashion Law, Data Protection Law, and Corporate Law, with a particular focus on the intersection of law and emerging technologies. She has published two research papers in reputed journals and continues to contribute to research and scholarship in her areas of specialization.

Ms. Vasudha V. Harnhalli, LL.M. B.B.A., LL.B.,
Assistant Professor

Ms. Vasudha V. Harnhalli, Assistant Professor, holds an LL.M. in Commercial Law from CMR University Bengaluru and a B.B.A., LL.B. (Hon’s) degree from Karnataka State Law University’s Law School, Hubballi. Prior to joining academia, she served in the Legal Department of MSPL Ltd., Baldota Group, Hosapete, where she gained practical experience in corporate legal affairs. Her dissertation titled “Auditors as Whistleblowers in Strengthening Corporate Governance in India – A Comparative Study with USA and UK” reflects her keen interest in regulatory frameworks and comparative legal analysis. Her academic contributions include research articles published in reputed journals such as UGC Care List -1 and the Mining Engineers Journal, focusing on whistleblower protections and environmental legal issues. She has interned with various legal practitioners and institutions such as Arbitration and Conciliation Center Bengaluru, and actively participated in academic conferences (National and International) and certificate programs in Intellectual Property Law, Company Law, and Mergers & Acquisitions. She hosted/ anchored at “33rd National Convention on Mining Engineers Association and National Seminar on Mining” (2023) organized by the Institute of Engineers India, Bangalore.

Shri S. M. Nashipudi, M.Lib.Sci, Librarian

He has completed his M.Lib.Sci. from Karnatak University Dharwad. He has joined the K.L.E. Society’s College of Pharmacy in 2002 as Asst. Librarian, and has been transferred to this institution in 2012. Presently he is working as a Librarian. He has more than 22 Years of experience.

Dr. Bahubali B. Kurkuri, M.P.Ed., M.Phil, Ph.D.,
Physical Education Director and NSS Programme Officer

He has completed his M.PEd. from Karnatak University Dharwad and M.Phil. from Vinayak Mission University Selam. He has passed state referee exam in Netball, Athletic and Kho-kho. He has joined K.L.E.S’s S. K. & H.S.K. Sc. Institute, Hubli, in the year 2011 and has been transferred to this institution in the year 2012. He has guided the students in various state and national level tournaments and organized the tournaments. Completed Ph.D. in Physical Education from JJT University, Rajasthan on the topic “A Comparative Study of Anthropometric Measurement, Physical Fitness Level and Body type among Handball and Netball Players from North Karnataka” on 22 June 2020 and published 4 research articles in reputed journals.

Shri. M. G. Malavade, B.A., LL.M.

He has completed his LL.M. with the specialization in Labour Law from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He is leading practitioner of Hubli. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Presently he is teaching Jurisprudence and Law of Evidence.
