Dr. Dnyaneshwar P. Chouri, LL.M., M.Phil., Ph.D.,
Principal

He has completed his LL.M. in the year 2007 with the specialization in Business and Trade and has been awarded M.Phil. on Sept. 2008 on “Legal Protection of Right to Health – A Critical Analysis” by Karnatak University, Dharwad. He has completed Ph.D. on “A law relating to the protection of consumers of professional services: A critical analysis” in the year 2016. In the same year he joined K.L.E. Society’s S. A. Manvi Law College, Gadag, as a full time faculty and in 2009 has been transferred to this K.L.E. Society’s G. K. Law College, Hubli. He has authored book titled, “Right to health and Legal Protection” published by Regal publications, New Delhi. He has teaching experience of 15 years and is teaching subjects like Company Law, Banking Law, International Law, Criminology, Land Law etc. He has published research articles in reputed law journals. He has attended various national level seminars/workshops etc.

Dr. Sharada G. Patil, LL.M., Ph.D., Assistant Professor

She has completed her LL.M. with the specialization in Labour Law in the year 1999. Soon after the completion she joined this institution during the year 1999 as a full time faculty. Presently she is serving as Assistant Professor. She has completed Certificate Course in Cyber Laws in 2006. She has also done Diploma in Systems Management at NIIT in the year 1994. She has teaching experience of 21 years and is teaching subjects like Constitution of India, Environmental Laws, Interpretation of Statutes, Penology, Professional Ethics, Alternative Dispute Resolution Systems etc. She has presented papers in International/National seminars, written research articles. She has attended two refresher courses at National Law School of India University, Bangalore during Oct’2002 and May’2007. She has attended various International ↦ National level seminars/workshops etc. She has completed Ph.D. on “A Critical Study Relating to Legal Aspects of Surrogacy in India” at Karnatak University, Dharwad in the year 2017.

Dr. S. M. Hullur, LL.M., M.Phil., Ph.D., Assistant Professor

He has completed his LL.M. from Karnatak university, Dharwad and M.Phil. from Madurai Kamraj University, Madurai. He has completed Ph.D. on “A Critical Evaluation of the Law Relating to Plea-Bargaining and Criminal Justice In India” at Karnatak University ,Dharwad in the year 2017. He has joined as fulltime faculty at BLDEA,s Law College, Jamkhandi in 2005. He joined K.L.E. Society’s S. A. Manvi Law College, Gadag, as Principal in 2011, and has been transferred to this institution in 2012 as a lecturer. He has 23 years of teaching experience. He is teaching Family law, Cr.p.c, Public International law. He has attended various National and international conferences, workshops and presented papers in the area of his research.

Shri S. M. Nashipudi, M.Lib.Sci, Librarian

He has completed his M.Lib.Sci. from Karnatak University Dharwad. He has joined the K.L.E. Society’s College of Pharmacy in 2002 as Asst. Librarian, and has been transferred to this institution in 2012. Presently he is working as a Librarian. He has more than 11 Years of experience.

Dr. Bahubali B. Kurkuri, M.P.Ed., M.Phil, Ph.D

Physical Education Director and NSS Programme Officer

He has completed his M.PEd. from Karnatak University Dharwad and M.Phil. from Vinayak Mission University Selam. He has passed state referee exam in Netball, Athletic and Kho-kho. He has joined K.L.E.S’s S. K. & H.S.K. Sc. Institute, Hubli, in the year 2011 and has been transferred to this institution in the year 2012. He has guided the students in various state and national level tournaments and organized the tournaments.

Completed Ph.D. in Physical Education from JJT University, Rajastan on the topic “A Comparative Study of Anthropometric Measurement, Physical Fitness Level and Body type among Handball and Netball Players from North Karnataka” on 22 June 2020 and published 4 research articles in reputed journals

Mrs. Kavitha S. Belagali, LL.M., Lecturer

She has completed 5 years B.A. LL.B., from K.L.E. Society’s Law College, Chikodi, in the year 2010 and LL.M., with the specialization in Constitutional Law in the year 2012 by securing 2nd Rank to KSLU Hubballi, cleared K-Set in 2013. She has 6 years of teaching experience & teaching subjects like, Contract – I & II, Company Law, Law of Torts, Constitution, PIR ADR, Labour Law, Environmental Law, Women and Child Law, Elements of Research. She has presented papers in International & National level seminars and has published research articles in various reputed journals.

Mrs. Vinutha Kulkarni, LL.M., Lecturer

She has completed 5 years B.A. LL.B., (Hon’s) in the year 2008 & LL.M., with the specialization in Corporate and Commercial Law, in the year 2015 by securing 2nd Rank from KSLU, Hubballi, cleared K-Set in 2018 She has also completed certificate course in Information Law in 2015. She has practiced for 3 years as an Advocate. She has a teaching experience of 4 years & teaching subjects like Criminal Law I, Contract II, Professional Ethics, Alternative Dispute resolution, Taxation, Constitution, Labour Law, Civil Procedure Code, and Intellectual Property Rights. She has presented papers in National & State Level conference and has published research articles in various reputed journals.

Mrs. Preeti J Kasturi, LL.M. Lecturer

She has completed Bachelors in Commerce from SJMVS College for Women, Hubballi. She has completed Bachelors in Law from K.L.E’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi and secured 8th rank for Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi. Further, she has completed Masters in Law with specialisation in Corporate and Commercial Law from Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi securing 2nd rank for Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi.

She has practiced as an Advocate at Hubballi and successfully dealt with civil and criminal cases at Hubballi and Karnataka High Court, Dharwad Bench, Dharwad. She has a teaching experience of 4 years. Also she has worked as a guest faculty for Constitutional Law at K.L.E.’s College of Business Administration, Hubballi and K.L.E. Technological University (BVB Engineering College), Hubballi. She has conducted special lectures on Constitutional Law, Labour Law etc. and participated in national and international workshops, webinars etc. Her areas of teaching include Constitutional Law, Indian Penal Code, Labour Law, Professional Ethics, Land Laws, Code of Civil Procedure, Intellectual Property Rights and English. Presently she is serving as a Assistant Professor at K.L.E’s Gurusiddappa Kotambri Law College, Hubballi.

Mrs. Swapna Somayaji, LL.M. Lecturer

She has completed M.Com. LL.M. with NET and KSET in Commerce and Law and enrolled for Ph.D on “Analysis of Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016- A comparative study with USA and UK” under the Guideship of Dr.Rangaswamy, Asst. Prof. KSLU, Hubballi. Total teaching experience of 10 years since 2009. From 2009 to 2015. She has worked at JSS Sakri Law College, Hubballi as Assistant Professor and from 2016 to 2019 has worked as visiting faculty at Sir Siddappa Kambli College, Dharwad and KSLU, Hubballi. From October 2019 working as full time faculty at KLE Society’s G.K.Law College, Hubballi.

Mrs. Sunitha B H., B.A., LL.B., LL..M, Assistant Professor

She has completed her B.A.LL.B., and LL.M in Constitutional Law from Bangalore University. She has worked as an Assistant Professor in Dr R.M.L College of Law, AL-Ameen College of Law, Sri Jagadguru Renukacharya College of Law. Diploma in Corporate Law from Indian Institute of Law, 2012. She is pursuing PhD in Bangalore University on the topic “Law relating to Electoral Reforms: With reference to India and UK”. She has presented number of papers in State & National level Seminars and published research papers in various Journals. Her areas of interest include Constitutional Law, Contract Law, Women and Law, Human Rights & Elements of Research. Since October 2019 she is working as full time faculty at KLE Society’s G.K. Law College, Hubballi.

Shri. M. G. Malavade, B.A., LL.M.

He has completed his LL.M. with the specialization in Labour Law from Karnatak University, Dharwad. He is leading practitioner of Hubli. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience. Presently he is teaching Jurisprudence and Law of Evidence.
